Unique pieces, so called because no die of the jewel has been taken, are the main production of NIGI firm, as we have already seen. But the jewels created in limited copies too, born from a common die, are never the same, because of the several passages made by hand. The heavier or softer filed, the corner rounded off or not, the choice of a different setting, mark the spirit and inspiration of the moment. So these jewels too, seemingly equals, at the end always different in their weight and finishing touch, can be considered "unique pieces", even if in a wider sense of the term. We could call these last creations "unique pieces" while the jewels without any die "unique models" but to avoid any confusion we maintain the standard definition of the terms. Anyway we desire to underline how a manual working always turn in favour of the uniqueness of the final product.
